Kanakuk Expeditions is one of the “ministries” of Kanakuk Ministries (recognized as a church by the IRS). Launched in 2024, Kanakuk Expeditions is a small-group travel program led by Jamie Jo-White, the daughter of Kanakuk’s CEO and chairman. It organizes guided trips for families and groups connected to the broader Kanakuk community. The program is presented as an extension of the Kanakuk “community” experience, bringing together current and former camp families for curated travel experiences.

Kanakuk Expeditions’s first trip was a couples catamaran trip on the U.S. Virgin Islands. Other trips have included Alaska, Tanzania, Christmas Markets in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

“Expeditions” planned for 2026 include Patagonia, Brazil, Iceland “A Valentine’s to Remember”, Switzerland, and Iceland. 

Trips are categorized into mother/teen, father/teen, couples and dads groups.
